Keto FatHead Dough

FatHead Dough is the most versatile dough that you can use for pizza base, pie crust, rolls, scones.

Cheese

I use mozzarella, but any melting cheese would do. Try not to use salty cheese and grate it to use melt it more even. The recipe is best with cream cheese, but can also work without it. I have made pizza base only with mozzarella and flour (coconut or almond). If you are vegan or dairy-free, you can substitute cheese with dairy-free cheese (I use Angel) and just add flour.

Best is prebaked, for a more crunchy crust. Cool on a wire rack before adding the topping. My advice is to make your own tomato sauce, to avoid any extra carbs.

Recipe

200g mozzarella

20g cream cheese

2 eggs

40g Coconut flour (80g Almond meal)

Optional 1tbs Flax seed meal

Buy ingredients in our Dry store

Method

Melt cream cheese, mozzarella, and flour for 2 minutes in the microwave or on the stove. Put in the food processor, add eggs one by one. Roll between 2 baking papers. Pre-bake for 4 minutes at 185°C. Cool and add topping. Enjoy.
